Hugs & Kisses, 1 of 3: Jill

Here in the Studio we're kicking off 2017 with happiness, love, and hugs & kisses!
Lately I've really been enjoying making cutesy critter cards.  And I have one to share with you today that is filled with hedgie hugs and kisses...
I began by inking my background with Salty Ocean Distress Ink and Danube Blue Memento Ink using  ink blending tools with foam pads.  I then cut two pieces of white cardstock and inked them with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, Pistacho Memento Ink, and Fern Green Archival Ink.  The lighter piece was trimmed into the shape of a hill. I stamped the darker piece with the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I mounted the "ground" and "hill" to my notecard, using foam squares for the hill.  Next I inked up the house die cuts with Majestic Blue Versafine Ink, pressing the ink pad directly to the die cut pieces. Once dry, I glued them to my scene.  I saved one small heart to paint and adhere to the house.  The hedgies, die cut balloon, and the small heart were painted using Distress Ink Reinkers used as watercolors. I then fussy cut the hedgies and added all of the elements to my notecard. All stamps and dies by Penny Black: 51-293, 51-289, 30-402, 30-399.
Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to see what Elizabeth has in store for us next. I'm sure it's something I'll LOVE. :)
